Proclamation

by the

President of the Republic of South Africa

In terms of section 17 of the State Information Technology Agency Amendment Act, 2002 (Act No. 38 of 2002), read with section 13 (3) of the Interpretation Act, 1957 (Act No. 33 of 1957), I hereby determine 3 October 2005 as the date on which—

(a)	sections 1, 2(b) and (c), 4, 5, 8, 9, 12(a), 13, 14, 15, and 16 of the State Information Technology Agency Amendment Act, 2002; and

(b)	section 12 (b) of the State Information Technology Agency Amendment Act, 2002, insofar as it inserts subsection (3) of, and inserts subsection (3A) in, section 19 of the State Information Technology Agency Act, 1998 {Act No. 88 of 1998),

take effect.
