| (1) | Any notice issued in terms of section 56 or 341 of the Criminal Procedure Act, 1977 (Act No. 51 of 1977), before the date of commencement of section 17, may be continued and finalised under that Act, but no such notice may be issued after that date in respect of an infringement. |
