Civil Aviation Act, 2009 (Act No. 13 of 2009)

(1)	The operator of a commercial air transport free balloon shall ensure that the balloon is maintained in. accordance with a balloon maintenance schedule established by the manufacturer.

(2)	The schedule shall contain details, including frequency, of all maintenance required to be carried out on the balloon.

(3)	The schedule shall include a reliability programme if the Director determines that such a reliability programme is necessary.

(4)	The schedule referred to in subregulation (1) and any subsequent amendment thereof shall be approved by the Director.
