| (1) | For the purposes of this Part, the types of aircraft are— |
| (a) | a glider, a power-assisted glider, and a touring glider; |
| (b) | a very light aeroplane; |
| (c) | an aeroplane of normal, utility, acrobatic and commuter category; |
| (d) | an aeroplane of the transport category; |
| (e) | a rotorcraft of the normal category; |
| (f) | a rotorcraft of the transport category; |
| (g) | a manned free balloon; |
| (h) | a non-rigid airship; and |

| (2) | The airworthiness design standards for each type of aircraft referred to in subregulation (1), are those referred to in regulation 21.02.3. |
