| (1) | An applicant for the issuing of a free balloon pilot licence shall have demonstrated to a licensed balloon pilot approved for such supervision by an organisation designated by the Director or body designated for the purpose as the case may be within 30 days of the last period of dual instruction the ability to perform, as PIC of a free balloon pilot, the procedures and manoeuvres as prescribed in Document SA-CATS 69, with a degree of competency appropriate to the privileges granted to the holder of a free balloon pilot licence. |
