| (1) | Each municipality’s equitable share of local government’s share of revenue raised nationally in respect of the 2025/26 financial year is set out in Column A of Schedule 3. |
| (2) | The envisaged equitable share for each municipality from local government’s share of revenue anticipated to be raised nationally in respect of the 2026/27 financial year and the 2027/28 financial year, and which is subject to the Division of Revenue Acts for those financial years, is set out in Column B of Schedule 3. |
| (3) | The national department responsible for local government must, unless otherwise determined by the National Treasury, transfer a municipality’s equitable share referred to in subsection (1) to the primary bank account of the municipality in three transfers on 7 July 2025, 9 December 2025 and 11 March 2026, in the amounts determined in terms of section 22(2). |
