| (1) | The Education and Training Committee as contemplated in section 6(2) of the Act is hereby established. |
| (2) | The Education and Training Committee shall comprise at least eight r but not more than 10 members of whom— |
| (a) | at least one (1) person must be nominated in terms of section 4 (1)(c) ofthe Act, representing the interests of higher education; |
| (b) | one person must be nominated in terms of section 4 (1) (d) of the Act, representing the interests of the public. |
| (c) | All categories of the geomatics profession must be reprepresented |
| (3) | The Council shall within 14 days of nominations, appoint members to the Education and Training Committee. |
| (4) | The Council may, on good cause shown, remove or replace any member of the Education and Training Committtee. |
