5. Principles

The governance and administration of the University in terms of this Statute must comply with the following principles:

(a) representivity, inclusivity and participation;
(b) a high standard of ethics;
(c) outcomes-orientated performance;
(d) the efficient, effective and sustainable use of resources;
(e) responsiveness to the well-being of the University community and the society which the University serves; and
(f) responsibility, transparency and accountability.
