3. Minimum Wages

3.1The minimum wages for the Worsted Section, which an employer shall pay to employees in the Spinning division, shall be as specified in sub-clause 3.2 below.

 

3.2Every employer must pay each employee a wage that is not less than the minimum hourly rate prescribed in the relevant tables below and for the grade specified.

 

3.2.2SPINNERS (AREA - A)
3.2.2.1Every employer must pay each employee in respect of grades 1, 2, 3 and 4 a wage increase of 6.5% with effect from the coming into operation of this Agreement as per below tables:

3.2.3SPINNERS (AREA - B)

 

3.2.3.1Every employer must pay each employee in respect of grades 1, 2, 3 and 4 a wage increase of 7% with effect from the coming into operation of this Agreement as per below tables:

3.3AREA A AND AREA B WAGE GAP

 

3.3.1Area B employers adjusted the wage gap for all employees falling within the Bargaining Unit with 0.5%, which is included in the 7% increase.
