17.1The employment of contractors and non-permanent staff is a company/plant-level issue.

 

17.2With respect to all employees earning below the threshold, the parties agree that Section 198 of the LRA offers adequate protection to TES employees and that once the main agreement is extended, such extension will offer protection to TES employees and employers commit to the monitoring of the TES service providers compliance with the LRA.
