The Minister of Health has, in terms of section 65 of the Medical Schemes Act, 1998 (Act No. 131 of 1998) ("the Act"), read with Regulation 28(2)(a) of the Regulations in terms of the Act, as amended, determined R125.86 plus Value Added Tax (VAT) as an amount that is payable by medical schemes to brokers with effect from 1 January 2026.
