| (i) | methods of determining deviations, with particular reference to types of vessels concerned; |
| (j) | dealing with interfering fields caused other than by hard iron and soft iron effects; |
| (k) | safety of navigation requirements relating to compasses and compass equipment; |
| (I) | modus operandi of adjustment; |
| (m) | residual deviations-factors to be taken into account when determining whether further adjustment should be contemplated. |
