| (1) | The Authority may, with or without conditions, grant exemption from any provision of these Regulations for classes of cases or individual cases and may, subject to giving written notice, amend or cancel any such exemption: Provided the exemption is in accordance with the IMDG Code, IMSBC Code or INF Code. |
| (2 ) | An exemption is subject to the following: |
| (a) | The owner of a vessel must carry on board the vessel a copy of the exemption for inspection; |
| (b) | compliance with any other condition imposed by the Authority under these Regulations. |
