Chapter 3 : Biodiversity Planning and Monitoring

The purpose of this Chapter is to—

(a)	provide for integrated and co-ordinated biodiversity planning;

(b)	provide for monitoring the conservation status of various components of South Africa's biodiversity; and

(c)	promote biodiversity research.
