| (1) | An operator must submit to the Regulator, a Safety of Persons Compliance Plan, referred to in regulation 8 (1) which is in accordance with the requirements of these Regulations. |
| (2) | The submission of the plan referred to in subregulation (1) must accompany and be integrated into the operator's safety permit application in accordance with the safety permit application process. |
| (3) | Notwithstanding the provisions of subregulations (1) and (2), in processing the application, the Regulator may— |
| (a) | request additional information; |
| (b) | require the operator to comply with any outstanding requirements imposed by these Regulations; |
| (c) | accept or reject the information provided by the applicant; and |
| (d) | impose conditions in the approval of the safety permit. |
