Requirements for manufacturers of blank number plates

 

1.Requirements for manufacturers of blank number plates

 

Manufacturers of blank number plates must—

(a)manufacture blank number plates in compliance with SANS 1116;
(b)be in possession of a valid South African Bureau of Standards registration permit;
(c)be in possession of a copy of a test certificate which demonstrates compliance with SANS;
(d)be in possession of a valid tax certificate;
(e)be in possession of a valid Occupational Health and Safety Certificate; and
(f)conclude a Service Level Agreement with the Province, represented by the Department.
