15. Exemption from duty to prepare and maintain firebreaks

(1)The Minister may exempt any owner or group of owners from the duty to prepare and maintain a firebreak or firebreaks for good reason.

 

(2)The exemption may be subject to conditions.

 

(3)The Minister must consult the fire protection association for the area, if any, before granting any exemption.
