1. Interpretation

(1)In these Regulations, unless the context indicates otherwise—
(a)"the Act"

means the Special Economic Zones Act, 2014 (Act No. 16 of 2014),

(b)"Board"

means a Special Economic Zone Board appointed by a licensee in terms of section 25(5) of the Act.

 

(2)A word or expression that is defined in the Act bears the same meaning in these Regulations as in the act, unless the context indicates otherwise.
