Sugar Act, 1978 (Act No. 9 of 1978)

In each year, the price per ton of recoverable value payable by mills to growers for cane deliveries shall be equal to the recoverable value of such cane calculated by dividing the total proceeds determined as payable by mills to growers in accordance with the provisions of clause 171 by the total tonnage of the recoverable value of cane delivered during the year concerned.
