PROCLAMATION

by the

President of the Republic of South Africa

In terms of section 36 of the Administrative Adjudication of Road Traffic Offences Act, 1998 (Act No. 46 of 1998), I hereby determine—

1 July 2026 as the date on which sections 17, 18, 19, 19A, 19B, 20, 23, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34 and 35 of the said Act shall come into operation in the areas of the Municipalities, established in terms of section 12 of the Municipal Structures Act, 1998 (Act No. 117 of 1998), read with section 2(2) of the Cross-boundary Municipalities Laws Repeal and Related Matters Act, 2005 (Act No. 23 of 2005), as shown in Annexure A of the Schedule;
